Greetings!
I love working with stone! I love the way it feels, and I take joy in wire wrapping a crystal to bring out the stones natural beauty.
My wire wraps are simple, using various metals such as silver, gold, plated metals, pure coppers, and amalgams.
I use these to make pendants, bracelets, earrings and more. I also use fibers in some of my work. I make wrap bracelets, again, keeping the design simple to enhance the natural beauty of the beads.
I live on a small piece of land, and very soon I will be adding sheep so I can learn how to create natural fibers with natural dyes. This will add another dimension to my work that I am looking forward to!
I have a huge crystal collection. I have a piece of Black Tourmaline that is close to two feet long! I also sell stones in raw and polished forms for collectors with a passion similar to mine.
Children love collecting, and I am happy to encourage this! I give crystals to any child whose parent will allow my gift. Lately it has been one of my favorites…Blue Kyanite, and children (and adults) love to hear about these crystals that are new to them!
Tiger Designs is named after one of my favorite cats….Tiger. She passed on quite a few years ago, but I adore her just as much today. I named my business in her of honor.
