There are many things that make Briar Unbound journals unique but what makes them special is our un-binding process. Briar Unbound‘s journals are a mix of hand dyed, vintage, and other speciality acid-free papers and use traveler’s style elastic binding for each journal so every signature can be replaced when it’s full, added to, or re-arranged. Each journal is lovingly handmade and will have slight variations. 


Briar Unbound also carries a selection of origami art made from the scraps of their journal making, feather quills, glass dip pens and inks, and wax seal stamps and wax sealing accessories in many styles.

A Crystal, Sound and Energy Infused Apothecary

Welcome to Brigit’s Cottage, a brand new company born from friends and coworkers encouraging me to sell the products that I have been making and gifting for many years. Over time these evolved into me working with sound, crystals and energy to make the teas more effective.

All of my products are crafted with intent for the herbs to work quickly and effectively. Each tea bag's herbs are individually measured and crafted to ensure maximum consistency. They are all placed into a crystal grid of amethyst, rose quartz and white quartz with sound baths of crystal energy bowls played around them to infuse them with the energetic healing properties of the crystals and sound frequency.

Most of my teas were originally crafted as a result of friends not feeling well and needing something that wasn’t traditional medicine. With so many looking to non-traditional methods to mitigate the symptoms of common ailments, I decided to offer an herbal tea line with this in mind.

I also realized how many of my friends and their children suffer from eczema. So I set about researching and have developed a 3 part line consisting of a witch hazel based cleanser, a mid-weight oil and a heavy-weight oil to help heal and calm the skin for eczema outbreaks.
